Built from the experience of needing help — and needing to rely on it

UrbanShine came from a personal need, not simply a business plan.

After an injury left me unable to manage the everyday upkeep of my own home, I needed cleaning support I could genuinely rely on — especially while caring for a young child.

What should have made life easier often created more stress. There were missed appointments, rushed or incomplete work, inconsistent standards and little accountability when something went wrong. At a time when I did not have the energy or capacity to keep chasing things up, I understood just how much dependable cleaning support can matter.

That experience became the reason behind UrbanShine.

We set out to build the kind of cleaning company we would have wanted during that time: responsive, transparent and dependable from the first enquiry to the completed clean.

So we brought a modern, systems-first approach to a traditional service — with clear estimates, responsive communication, reliable teams and professional standards you should not have to chase.

Because professional cleaning should make life easier — not give you another thing to manage.
